Reviewer is powerful female who has used various mitts over course of two years. My hands are thick and strong (8 ring size) but my fingers are short.

This pure cowhide leather made mitts are pretty and quality appears to be good.

Fit is superior to all other coaching mitts i have tried. I am able to “hold onto these” with stubby fingers and sweaty wrapped hands without having to stop and reposition.

Small profile and light weight allows holder to move quickly with minimal fatigue. However, it offers less protection against sloppy strikers … glancing off side or hitting holder’s wrist.

Strike surface is unique – more of a drum like hollow pocket than a pad. As such, when hit properly, it makes a distinctive pop (not smack). It absorbs shock well for both holder and striker. Before this of my review, i have used one also better mitts from hayabusa but this one is better as hayabusa has used artificial leather for their mitts construction which dose not seem pretty at all plus their price was also higher than this one in pure leather!
